>band comes back together after a long hiatus to release garbage
Why is this allowed?
>Band comes back together after a long hiatus
>Their new album is actually pretty good but nobody pays attention to it because they assume it'll be bad

unironically because we live under capitalism

Alice In Chains
>band has an amazing 5~ year period but then spends the next 20+ years releasing nothing but garbage
>>72977068
the libertines
>>72977092
yep. last two album were great and borderline doom metal. A Looking in View, Hollow, and Stone are some of their best songs ever.

They're good but they shouldve never called it AiC imo

Van Halen
>band reforms after releasing swan song album
>music sounds completely different and the only remaining member is the frontman
>>72977254
I would have hated if they did the new order thing though. There wasn't even a drastic musical change as they were heading that way with Tripod

This is true. I think it was less a sound thing for me and more out of respect of Layne but as far as I can tell is that Jerry didn't give as many shits as we were led to believe on the grounds that he tried to help Layne and his death was ultimately his own fault.

Jerry and Sean obviously care I think. They have Layne and Starr's initials in Sean's drumhead whenever they play live. Nice tribute imo

It's sad people talk shit about their new albums only because of the black guy who's replacing Layne, he may not be as near as cool as him but the songs on those last records are great
