It's still a great song, but to me it's the weakest on the record because it can't stand on its own two feet. Something about the chords or the key it's in, I'm not sure. Loveless is my favorite album, but that's the one song that I can't listen to individually, it only makes sense in the context of the whole record.

The point is that Lou Reed was only lauded because of the VU and John Cale was by far the more talented party in the band. Use some basic inference skills. In case that isn't clear enough for you, Lou Reed is a hack junky kike that can't sing or play guitar for shit whereas John Cale is a talented songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and singer. Reed is only famous because of his image.
