The solos on Rust In Peace are brilliant compositions that all have unique personalities while being played with blistering technical skill

Slayer's guitar solos are almost always basically random notes for le meme "atonal" effect but in actuality they are just masking the ability that they have no fucking talent by playing really fast with no compositional thought whatsoever.

Anyone who has an iota of knowledge of guitar theory or playing would be able to instantly recognize that Slayers guitar solo's are fucking shit. As I stated earlier, Kerry basically plays random notes really fast to give away the impression that he has some talent, when in actuality he probably knows next to no scales and has no idea what the fuck he is doing.

I have been playing guitar since childhood and this is abundantly clear to me. Do I still enjoy Slayer's music? Of course. They put out some fucking excellent, classic albums. But their solos are shit to the ear of the guitarist.

Is my point clear? Or are you going to resort to ad hominem again?
