Any vocalists in the same vein as him? Genre or year doesn't matter.

Any specific albums by Scott Walker?

I tried to listen to Jeff but his voice never struck me in the same way. I think Tim Buckley was more instrumental in the use of his voice than his son and that's what interested me in his singing in the first place.
Thank you for the suggestions so far everyone.

This desu
where do I start with him? I was looking for something chilling and beautiful for first try. I know he got some more "experimental" stuff

Happy Sad is sort of his middle ground between his earlier, more standard folk rock style--where his voice stayed within the tenor range--and his later, more experimental, work (before he went on to make funk) that made a fuller use of his vocal range.
I would start there and go forward or back depending on which parts of it you like.
