Influence wise yes, you want to go for quality of songs then fine, Oasis had 8 number ones, Suede and Pulp both had none, Oasis played to the biggest crowd Knebworth had ever seen, if the Pulp and Suede were that good they have done better but they didn't because people didn't think their songs were good enough.
