what's with Jeza gatecrashing The Libertines? Trying to do the hello fellow kids thing?
They all are, there's a major drive to get people to register to vote. As a significant proportion of them are young people who often stick to one party once they start to vote it is worth them trying to catch them early.
You'd know all this if you stayed in /pol/ and trying to start political discussions here.

Truly a winning strategy

It's a common tactic for Labour to try and "get down with the kids." Younger people are far more likely to vote Labour than Conservative, but they aren't as likely to vote. They need to do as much to get them to vote as possible.

This is also a strategy they've used for quite some time
>the absolute state of political leadership in this country
Embarassing desu, fucking awful the lot of them.

hahaha, just imagine the conversation
>hey Tony, mate, nice house you have here, just asking: it's ok to do coke in the bathroom, innit?
>what? no, what are you talking about?
>just kiddin, already did 5 minutes ago

this at least makes a bit of sense, The Libertines are an Islington band and Corbyn's the MP for Islington.
Only one party leader has been in a band.
Politicians think that they are relating to the youth by hanging around celebrities, but in reality they just come off as olds, and middle america doesnt give a fuck what some rich celebrity has to say when they live paycheck to paycheck and in a one room apartment.
If anything the 2016 election showed how detrimental celebrity endorsements are, celebrities are seen as part of the establishment by poor people
