Like I said, trap isn't something I like to listen to a lot, and a lot of the genre's artists now lack merit, but Travis is good to me.

hndrxx was the 808s and heartbreak of trap.

antidote was literally a deconstruction of trap music, like what bartok and other contemporary era artists did with classical music.

art belongs to no one. any merit you hear in the music you deem worthy is merely a projection of your own opinion.

i'm not saying its a bad thing. some people enjoy things normally, and other people will enjoy things by being pretentious and exclusive. wine will taste better if you delude yourself with bullshit.
