I need some recommendations for good korean/japanese bands. Please and thank you.
Just ANY bands?
Nothing particular genre-wise?
the pillows, especially the string of Please Mr. Lostman, Little Busters, Runners High and Happy Bivouac. It's pretty straightforward Alt Rock but they have good quality and they have a really good mix of anthemic, melancholic and calm songs.

Kind of, it's 90s alt-rock in general, they have more or less the same influences as most bands from that era; Pixies, some post-punk, a bit of The Smiths...

Something along the lines of "We Got Underwear and Girls", korean post rock. I'm not sure of the exact translation, sometimes they just go by The Underwears and similar monikers.
