The so called "rumors" that have been floating around the scene are questionable at first glance, but I looked at the facebook page of the girl who supposedly first called them out in DIY chicago facebook group, and she seems like some sort of hardcore feminist type, with annoying facebook posts and everything. I mean, I don't know what I would suspect a person with malicious intent to look like, but she seemed like she would be the sort of person who would actually be into pwr bttms music, and so by proxy actually be telling the truth because she's in that scene; if she's in the scene then she probably isn't just in the scene to fuck with people. I don't know. That just leaves the allegation which was reported to Jezebel, which I don't know if I can believe.
