Everyone's gonna shit on you for this, but I agree. And I've heard Maureen Tucker echo the same sentiment. The band became straightforward rock after Cale left, and lost what made it so unique and groundbreaking in the first place. TVU is still one of the all time great albums though, and Murder Mystery shows they still had a bit of a psychotic side.
