Frigid Stars vs The White Birch. Go

just saw this album The Forgotten Cinema - Love, Claire in a sharethread a few days ago, it's great
>>72721920
oh ouch, if I had to rank them on some numerical system I'd have to give The White Birch a higher score but I listen to Frigid Stars way more often, really love the more minimal style on that album
There was one last night that died at like thirty replies but this is my favorite genre and so wish there was more discussion because it's some seriously good shit.

I just think there's not a lot of slowcore discussion because there's not enough slowcore in general. Most of these threads boil down to the same regurgitation of Codeine, Low, RHP, etc.

There is not as much popular slowcore*
There's a ton of stuff that fits the definition, and a metric shitload of stuff if genres like Alt-Country and slower post-rock counts

youtube has been recommending me every artist you named for the last few months and im not complaining.
Bedhead is solid band for slowcore.
Mineral's EndSerenading isn't too bad either

Wonder if it's the one I put on mega. I shared that album a few months ago to some random people on discogs because before then, it was impossible to find online.
Arab Strap are my go-to tfwnogf slowcore
