I know I'm late to the party but holy shit this album rocked my fucking world.
I'd say Tales from Topographic Oceans in some ways while the album can also be a bit long winded in comparison.

Might just be me but this album gives me some serious DSoTM vibes. Its mostly alt-country/blues/art rock but with some progressive parts, mostly near the transitions. Great atmosphere, instrumentation and pacing.
