Why does everyone like this album? It's pretty bad. It's only like a 7/10

>7/10
>pretty bad

>only like a 7/10
hot new meme coming through

Fuck it, it's a 7.
2 tracks really stood out to me- the opener, because it's really wild and glitchy, and Fruitcake-cookies for that really cool tone on the strings.
I thought it was decent but I don't remember much about it and I don't remember being blown away by the other tracks. I've been planning on revisiting it but I just haven't gotten around to it.

Didn't like this one at all. It seemed too poppy to me.

It's a really unique piece of shoegazy pop music and is really interesting. It has a lot of imperfections and awkward execution, but its unrelenting honesty and cohesive sound makes it a worthwhile listen for a long time.
That said, I don't listen to it as much anymore, but when I started listening to it I was really pleasantly surprised and came to love it.
It's definitely not for everyone, and what makes it weird and interesting will either pull you in or push you away. There's not much else to it.
It's really unique and it does exactly what it sets out to do. I don't know what you mean by "bad" because I can't think of any ways to improve upon its mixture of shoegaze and glitch. Maybe it's too long for you or maybe you don't get it but that doesn't mean it's bad.
>>72684944 is true though. I wish they kept more shoegaze elements because V:D:C's poppier songs (DSC, Chocolate Matter) are incredible and some of the guitar tones (Design: 2: 3) are really beautiful. Oh well, I'm glad we have something as unconventional as Sweet Trip in the first place.
God, 7/10 albums are the worst

7/10 and higher means good though. You must be in high school still
I agree it's a 7/10 but yeah it's still pretty good
>tfw Roberto tweeted about deleting a track and starting over on it 5 times a few weeks ago
>tfw we probably won't see anything new for a couple years, if ever
Feels bad man. Sweet Trip are geniuses that faded into obscurity too soon
