Am I the only one that doesn't get Mac Demarco at all. The music and instrumentation is incredibly banal. Melodies aren't anything special. He doesn't even try to sing, I can hardly understand his lyrics because he mumbles all the time and when I look them up online, it's not anything special. Usually I try to play one of his albums and all his songs just clump together into a mass of blah cuz they all sound so similar
