This is legitimately the best album out of an otherwise awful discography.

true
death grips a shit, but this one is actually not that bad

Dub dubs don't lie.
I don't come to /mu/ to hear about shitty opinions
I don't get the hate Death grips get, they have achieved meme status, but they still made interesting music. People gotta be contrarian to feel special I guess.

Every song is the exact same and it's not a very interesting schtick. 5/10 album.
BEWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARE
Exmilitary is better than this. Exmil is their only good release.

Dunno but Death Grips as a band sure is some bougie dogshit. Fuck that gay ass band.

>Up My Sleeves
A dark, distorted piece of rap that occasionally bursts into heavy vocal-synths before dying down into a calmer tone
>Billy Not Really
A bright and cheery pop song with none of the darker undertones
>Have A Sad Cum BB
A vocal-chopping plunderphonics piece with no rap verses
Literally what? Do you not have ears, or were you just not paying attention?
>>72681009
Garbage opinion. Exmilitary just took Link Wray and Pink Floyd samples un-edited and added rap over them.
The Money Store, GP, NOTM, and BP do way more in terms of creative hip-hop music than Exmilitary. The people who say only Exmilitary is good probably only listen to dad rock

Just like /V/ stops caring about video game mechanics and gameplay when a game gets too popular, /MU/ stops caring about musicianship or creativity when a band gets too popular
The shitposting circle-jerk of Death Grips was super light up until they hit the peak of their hype with NLDW, after that it was all downhill

80808 digits confirms you are a DG stannyboy.

>All of them
Syncopated synth drone, standard Hill-style drumming but on 808s, chopped vocal samples, sometimes the beat cuts out for a short while to emphasise Ride's lyrics more, which is a pretty standard hip-hop gimmick.
