A lot of "post club" producers have the grinding midrange sound like tac lacora, so check out Lotic, Arca, M.E.S.H., and Amnesia Scanner. But honestly Autechre's sounds is one of the most singular in the world, so your best bet is other Autechre releases. Exai, Ae_Live, elseq1-5, and Onesix have a similar sonic palette.

these + phoenecia, richard devine and some artists from the mego label

Cool, I saw Grischa play live, but kind of lost track of him since.

Richard Devine is a weird one. He has an undeniable talent for sound design but he can't into songwriting to save his life. Now that I think about it, that criticism actually describes a lot of the producers in >>72652901

This just came out, I think it's pretty great

I'm into Puredata too. Been following him on Youtube for a while. All his stuff is pretty great.

Devine's albums always left me cold. But when I hear single tracks I think they're great. He just doesn't seem to have enough range. It gets super tedious. I don't think you necessarily have to have "songwriting" in the form of conventional melody and harmony, but Devine always just seems to rely on the same basic combination of elements.

Album art looks like the new Mac DeMarco album so listen to that

As far as fucked up goes, I always had a soft spot for Bogdan Raczynski

I still think this is a high water mark for insanity.

You heard Machinedrum's work under the name Syndrone? It's got a late-90s Ae feel to it

next level shit

a lot of autechre imitators end up falling flat to me desu

your best bet is either looking at their influences in electroacoustic music, or the experimental club music thats getting immensely popular
