The rise of cassette culture with hipsters who got tired of vinyl, especially when plebes started liking it portends the beginning of the cultural shift from 80's revival to 90's revival

this just sounds like downtempo + dubstep
people have been trying to force cassettes and VHS for a few years now. it's just an atrocious format that requires you to rewind, risks your tape breaking/getting tangled/etc. and really offers no benefits over either vinyl or digital media
so i don't expect it to catch on. CD nostalgia will be a thing, though

Hopefully with cd nostalgia we'll get more posters and stuff with cds. I don't get why most cds don't come with posters. It can't be that much more expensive to print, and even if a little girl doesn't want a katy parry cd, she'll want the poster/keychain/stickers it comes with. idk

>CD nostalgia will be a thing
I hope so, I have hundred of CDs that I can't sell more than $1 atm
listen to casette club
Making a generalization, physical media for music is a novel idea for a lot of young people these days, so I imagine that CD nostalgia will happen next.
For all their faults, cassette tapes seem sturdier, easier/cheaper to produce, and more portable. No wonder they're becoming more popular.
Tape labels for underground music have been a thing forever though basically, so it's kinda funny to see them surge in popularity these days.
All the music I own on cassette is crappy noise and grindcore, but maybe I'll get some cool points from the young peoples cuz I have a ton.
