Music by a mile. I get more out of it. For me, there's too much artistic compromise to get a high quality movie/series released as opposed to music. But I also just have more of a connection to music for some reason. Also, pre 2000s anime always looks super comfy (i'm assuming this is pre 2000s). I doubt it's nostalgia because i barely watch anime and i never did back then.

I prefer animes

OP here. watching an anime or a series or a movie (if i like them. if i don't i just get angry for wasting my time) always leaves me with a bittersweet feeling. i always get sad because they end, and it's not like i can experience them again. i can rewatch but it's not the same
it mostly happens with animes, because they are way more outside of my reality than let's say, a realist movie

with music it's different, music doesn't "abandon" me, in any case, i abandon a song or an album i like when i listened to it too much. that's why i like music more

that's what i feel, i don't know if it's a common thing for anyone

visuals stick with me more than music generally, but i wouldn't say that means i like one more than the other

I like creating music more, but I prefer watching a movie/series than listening to music.

I don't even like music, let alone movies or series.

music. doesn't take as much dedication to listen to an album as it does to watch a show or a movie

i can listen to music while doing other things so if i end up not enjoying an album, it won't be as much of a waste of time.

music its a pleasure point but then what I like learning new things or exploring ideas more as I get older

I dont like the TV format at all, so series aren't my cup of tea.
I enjoy music a lot more than any other form of art and it's by far what I do the most in my free time, even though I always get more sensitive and emotional with movies and animations than music.
If I could rank in any way
Music > Literature > Movies/Animations > TV series
