Germany invented techno. UK invented dubstep.
I think it's pretty clear.

And jungle, drum & bass, trip hop, garage...
Germany is better at making bleeps, UK is better at winning wars.
It evens out.

Detroit techno is just synthpop (Germany: Kraftwerk) with a bit of funk.
>when Derrick May was asked to describe techno, he replied “George Clinton and Kraftwerk stuck in an elevator”
Germany cuz i fucking despise Anglo people

Skrillex invented dubstep
pretty sure UK is more Rock than electronic. and pretty sure France and Finland have bigger scenes than the uk has michael gray. like who else is from there?
Can I choose the US instead?

Not since about 1990 and the UK probably has the biggest clubbing scene outside Ibiza.

Well, I went to this very dark techno rave a couple of weeks ago and maybe I wasn't into enough K but I just couldn't vibe with it. And I have to been in a very particular mood to listen to techno at home. I think tech house is top-tier dance music, though.

Karl Bartos and Kraftwerk were influenced by funk rhythms
Techno was always more of an American thing but it was influenced by British synth pop, and synth pop (via Kraftwerk and Moroder) has its own disco and funk influences
All comes back to funk in the end
