one of the few things where Heroes is actually better than Low

It's a fine song and would have fit well elsewhere on the album, but Neukoln was the perfect closer. this just feels tacked on.

Those sax squeals at the end of neukoln would have made a much better finale than a pop song with a fade-out ending

Lodger has an overabundance of cathartic catchy tracks like DJ, Look Back in Anger, Red Sails and Red Money, but they really would have needed the instrumental tracks Heroes and Low had to really shine. Tracks like African Night Flight, Yassassin and Repetition are just bores in the context.

It's a good song. A better question would be: Who's fucking idea was it to let David fucking Bowie keep talking while Robert Fripp played an amazing guitar solo at the end of Joe the Lion??????
