I never thought this was disturbing, I laughed out loud at how ridiculous it was the first time I heard it. Something about Gira's delivery just makes it sound like black comedy even though it was probably supposed to be serious and fucked-up.

They are completely different pieces of work, in fact they are probably completely opposite of each other.

One is a disturbing and repulsive spoken word narrative of a person and his life (that is also social commentary). The other is a frightening and deafening power electronics album, that centres around domestic and sexual abuse.

I Am an Infant I Worship Him was a fucking experience for me to sit through. Never been so close to vomiting just from listening to a story in my entire life and afterwards I felt like shit. The only thing that has disturbed me more is probably Buyers Market and the similar collage on Bird Seed, but those are real interviews.
