So I never listened to Paramore's stuff in the past so I don't know what the fuck is going on. Who is in the band now if the two butthurt guys left? Why were they so mad that they didn't get signed even though they're getting paid?

Membership in the band is a shit show. If you're really curious just read the Wikipedia article of the band.
Basically:

-2nd album
-Hayley and bro 1 have a thing

-bro 1 is now ex, doesn't play well with Hayley who is legally in charge of band

A big difference though is that Hayley is the only one on Atlantic's (?) contact. The other band members are paid smaller salaries, share no royalties, but Hayley gives them extra cash from her paycheck because they're not under contact. (Which she doesn't have to do, nor does she need members technically) legally speaking Hayley IS Paramore and the other members are her friends who she brings along with her

Regardless if Josh is lying or telling the truth with his account, I don't think it exactly hurts Hayley's reputation (or at least it shouldn't). If anything, it seems like the record label is mostly the guilty one. Hayley just managed to get wrapped up into it. Don't get me wrong. I'm not arguing that she's some perfect, little angel or something. She just gets too much flak.

Plz no bully, Zac. ;_; Anyways, I might be wrong, but if I remember correctly, he didn't exactly run back to them. Hayley and Taylor reached out to him after their self-titled release. Taylor was the one who also offered to make him the band's official drummer again. I'm just going off my memory from their recent Zane Lowe release.

Josh was a major songwriter for the band before he left. Out of the rest of the male band members, Josh was arguably the most important (now it's Taylor). Josh deserved more recognition for sure, so I can understand why he was a little butthurt.

Wew. Taylor (along with Hayley) wrote basically the entire self-titled release. Taylor is a great songwriter. Zac hasn't contributed much in the songwriting process (though it seems that's starting to change with their upcoming release), but he at least had his own band and can be a decent songwriter. Jeremy Davis is really the only one who deserves the "literally who" title, but even then, he's pretty cool. :^)

I think they're alright songs. The second single is way better than the first one they put out so I'm looking forward to the album. Although Hayley is mostly running the show at this point I can't say that I'm not surprised. Their last LP kinda went in this direction as well but with a more unique spin on it. This album will probably be just straight up pop, which is okay, but I really had hoped they would go the more experimental route as they were going with on their self titled with the last song on the album essentially being a post-rock track .

Paramore are a good band, but yeah it's obviously just Hayley Williams and her backing band of literally whos. They were one of the few bands keeping straight up guitar rock music alive, and they've made some of the catchiest singles of this generation. I think their self titles is a really good album, especially the last track, Future
