Motherfucker he won a grammy without a label which is incredibly uncommon. He's trying to prove you can make it without getting signed. He did the Kit Kat deal cause he wanted to. It doesn't matter if you hate his music he's made an impact despite not being part of the industry.

You can't take hip-hop lyrics seriously: it's all posturing. No one is more enslaved by labels than hip-hop "musicians."
