akufen's new ep is alright
vaguely garage-y vibes on the first track

Question to bump the thread because it seems interesting, but I fins it hard to get into techno and a lot of other electronic music, mainly because I find it very emotionally flat. Does anybody else feel this way? What can I do to get over this?

Sometimes vocals/samples can't bring a lot of emotions
https://youtu.be/szn8SnKFMzw (one of the best remix of DJ Sprinkles)

Also, don't focus too much on the beats: listening to techno tracks in your room is a totally different experiences than being in a club with a huge sound system. Maybe try smoother genres like Ambient/Deep House instead of Minimal Techno/House.

But lack of emotions can be a quality too: Industrial Techno is aggressive & brutal, and you might like it if you're into Metal

Never seen Monolake before, that is one of the nicest album covers I've seen though.

Best album here
sampled drums > synthesized drums > live drums
One of my favorites. Always have a tough time choosing between Maxxi and self titled
