What are the most fucked up/hard to endure albums you've

I've never really experienced this and don't see why I would (sure some noise is pretty damn intense, but at that point it's not music anymore), but Public Castration is a Good Idea I guess.

definitely this. this album isn't unlistenable in the sense of it not being ~music~ but rather it's a very stark reminder of how fucked up humanity can be. Bands might have lyrics about atrocities but this shit is straight up recordings of the real thing. Real depravity laid out bare.

Nine Inch Nails' Downward Spiral. I felt terrible after listening to it for the first time, in one sitting too. Just an awful, droning feeling of dread. Fantastically written and executed album.
