I can't speak for everywhere but certainly in Scotland f you're told a strain more often than not it's fucking bullshit, regardless of the quality of the weed.*

Decent pot dealers don't even attempt to lie that they know and will only tell you the strain if it's their own homegrown stuff. The stuff I get is generally nameless weed but it is always very decent stuff, the quality here has improved hugely in the last five years. I was in Amsterdam recently and out of the fifteen strains I tried from award winning coffee shops most were of a very similar quality.

Overall this has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I've always been really into music but listening to songs high just seems to make it better. I'll be careful not to let it take over my life and all that but this definitely isn't the last time I'll be smoking and listening to music.
