What does /mu/ think of this album? For me it's my favourite Pink Floyd album, but that's probably largely from nostalgia. Either way I think it's a masterpiece.
yeah it's pretty good
this is better.

I don't get all the hate. It's basically a rock opera.

For me, it's a 7.5/10, but it's a very good closing point for anything of great quality from Pink Floyd.
I think WYWH, and Animals are both better-made albums, but yeah, it's good.
it's just waters' pretentious shit
Second best behind DSOTM, easy 8.9

It's my favorite album.

"It sounds like a middle school band tuning."

like all double albums you can pare it down to a solid core. fuck that D side.
the whole thing has such a miserable overcast vibe that i never want to hear it

I don't know, I don't like it.
I somehow liked it when I was 16 and listened to this stuff but soon I changed my mind and thought it was pretty dull for me.
Never really paid too much attention to this album since then except for a few listens that didn't "clicked" on me. Still love DSOTM and their previous work tho.

I forgot to mention that I understand why this album is appreciated.
But for me its just too long and cheesy.

I love pink floyd but the D side is absolute garbage compared to other floyd songs

It's the Roger Waters filler album.

Meddle is best PF album (and, coincidentally, best when on heroin).
