Now that it's almost a year after release, thoughts? How would you rank it next to the rest of Autechre's discography?

Absolutely. My favourite songs in their disco. come from this: feed1, 13x0 step, and foldfree casual. Like the other anon said, it's digestible in parts.
Autechre is one project that I can't really get into past the first albums, they're 2abstract4me.
It's good. I don't think it's too long at all, I've played it beginning to end a few times, though many songs are skippable. Personal favorites are chimer 1-5-1, artov chain, latentcall, 7th slip, eastre, mesh cinereaL, acdwn2, spaces how V, spTh. The rest is meh. But it has a unique flavor like all their albums, so it's hard to rank it.

Well considering it's not even considered a traditional album, I'd rank it as an outlier that has some of their best songs and some of their most okay songs. But an okay autechre song is better than most.
It feels so "real". Like most music just sounds like noises and then Elseq has this very real sound, if that makes sense. It's a very cool experience.

Same in that it's definitely not an album so it's hard to compare. I think most of it is in incredible and it doesn't feel bloated cuz each individual part is easily digestible as long as you don't mind long songs

Definitely. They have songs for every mood on here. Ambient to funky as fuck. I love that the music sounds alive as all the sequences are always slightly changing like the imperfections of a living being

Really big fan, it's like getting 5 mini albums in one solid project. Really good diversity all throughout and definitely ranks in my top 5 of their releases
