> enjoy singing
> have a speech impediment that keeps me from pronouncing "L"
Anyone else have something holding them back from making music?

mfao
Yes, lack of motivation
>>72372385
you can make it your "thing"
I feel like learning to properly enunciate L-sounds would be easier and quicker than learning how to sing. What's your excuse OP?

I went to speech therapy as a kid, it didn't work. I suppose I could try again as an adult, but I think it's too late.

Literally every pop star, that's the combination that spells success. Go find yourself an agent.

>amazing freestyle rapper
>great writer
Except
>pronounce words like a fuckass sometimes
That part isn't a big deal, but
>Build up a fuck ton of spit in my mouth when I rap
>Have to swallow it every 4 bars or else I'll be literally "spitting"
Would be fine if I gave myself a little break in between my bars, but I really pack my lines tight and build complex rhyme schemes, so it fucks it all up
>enjoy singing
>thick voice
>english isn't native language

same except for the spitting part. I stumble over my words a lot like i have mental dyslexia
>>72373977
don't sing in english. Or sing in gibberish and make it your thing. Like that one Bowie song on Low.

Ah, I feel you. My buddy has dyslexia, he's a great freestyler but can't write for shit. He said freestyling has actually helped deal with his dyslexia a bit tho
