Those people are cunts. It's already been said in the thread, but they're are straight up wankers. If they had concerns about you, they should have brought it up with you, but instead they couldn't grow a pair and face you about it, so instead they went behind your back to auditions straight away. In the long run, you wouldn't want to be in a band with them anyway.

Had something similar to op's situation happen to me. Shit really stung because I thought that the guys were my close friends, but apparently they thought that I looked that bad for the band image or whatever. I am admittedly a little overweight and wear glasses, and didn't fit the kind of punk alt rock image they were going for, but I could have tried to change my appearance if they had just asked. Still, it fucked me up pretty bad. I feel for you OP, I would just say to forget them, but I know from experience that it isn't that easy to do. Try to move on and make them regret kicking you out. That's what I have been doing and even if you aren't successful, it still is very good motivation to keep working at trying to improve yourself.
