ITT: albums you haven't really listened to unless you've listened to the remaster
the uk mix has a really thin brittle sound that would make the lyrics sound more impactful if you could fucking hear them

I haven't heard that remaster. is it really that much better?
>>72224868
it could be criticized as a bit loud, but I think it creates more of a beautiful wall. makes it a bit harder while also dreamy. I love the more usual mix for Treasure though
>>72224761
I think this sounded way dreamier before it got remastered
>>72224715
If you're implying the US mix is better, you're a fucking pleb of epic proportions.
>>72224963
it could be because I heard the remastered version first
>>72225022
the band themselves said it was better fwiw
I like them both for different reasons
>>72224761
which one? there's 3 I think. I assume you mean the 2004 one since you mentioned loudness
>>72223987
>>72226054
probably. for me the loudness doensn't ruin anything + doesn't sound like it's ripping apart. I do like the Iggy Pop mix of Raw Power though
>>72223987
Same here. The remaster is pretty fucking great, gives the tracks a much needed extra punch desu (drums and bass especially)

THIS
everything sounds so clear and good, makes the original seem muffled and lame
>>72223987
icky thump
