and i'm not a kendrick hater, either.
tpab is an 8 or 9 for me and i thought gkmc was a 10.

but im just so underwhelmed by this release. everything from the track names to the cover art just gives off this vibe of being rushed/incomplete.

gkmc and tpab both were very coherent and felt more like movies/stories and damn. just feels like a bunch of songs.

i've heard the album at least 5 times now and i still dont remember a single lyric/beat from it.

fair criticism. I felt the same way about it sounding rushed. Some of the more interesting ideas never fully felt like they were fleshed out, and some of stark transitions felt like they were shoehorned in there. it just came across as way too forced at times.
