I had the same reaction back in 1992.

Кypт was redpilled
I know that feel, Nirvana were the first band I was properly obsessed with, back when I was 14. Helped me get into noise rock with Incesticide and In Utero, and introduced me to Steve Albini's massive contribution to music.
The New Devonshire mix of Nevermind is quite interesting, probably more what Kurt had in mind
It's really catchy and cathartic alt. rock music. Nothing wrong with that. If you keep listening to it nonstop it's going to fizzle out for you though. Just try to find more music like it and expand your taste. Check out Wipers, a band Nirvana took a lot of influence from.
Welcome to being a patrician...

It's a good album desu
it's a great album
drain you, lithium, stay away. great sound, many people don't like it because it sounds so clean and crisp, very pop. But I actually like it even more, if you want rough stuff there's incesticide or in utero.
Not the best one of Nirvana, but maybe the most iconic album? great work anyway, krist and dave are so raw on the bass/drum combo

Was the album that got me into Nirvana back when, but I prefer In Utero.
Haven't listened to it in years but I'm guessing it'd still hold up, for me at least.
It's a good album honestly, only reason why people dislike it today is because of edgy teens that buy nirvana t-shirts from h&m. If you just discovered it then obviously it's gonna be fucking good, it certainly was for me the first time i heard it.
Great album.
why do certain albums like this still "speak" to generations years after they come out? It seems like every year there's a new wave of teenagers obsessed with nirvana

I hate this album!
Nirvana - Nevermind, my favorite album. Listen to the Devonshire mixes.

Because most of the lyrics are nonsense so people project whatever meaning they want to hear onto them.

To me, it's just that its extremely catchy but goes pretty hard at times, and its honest.
I mean most of the lyrics don't really mean too much but I think the emotions are genuine, none of it is superficial
For music thats considered pop its really honest

Montage of Heck paints a pretty good picture as to why, becomes obvious pretty quickly he was going to end up killing himself
COME ON PEOPLE NOW, SMILE ON YOUR BROTHER, EVERYBODY GET TOGETHER, TRY LOVE ONE ANOTHER RIGHT NOW
In highschool I literally couldn't stop listening to Nevermind and In Utero. Great albums.

Do you think he would browse Tumblr/Reddit if he was alive today?

>I like to make incisions into the belly of infants then fuck the incisions until the child dies
...
>Someone publicated a kid male penis in the cover album
>nobody complain
>Someone publicate kid female tits
>OMG KILLYOU ARESELF PEDO BAN IT!! :S

Some senator complained about the cover but Kurt responded and said that if you were to censor that cover, you're admitting to child pornography because that image isn't suppose to be sexualize.
