Pre-'70 electronic music pretty much sucked. Only 2 albums from that era that I've heard were good: Silver Apples' debut and Wendy Carlos - Switched-On Bach. Also Delia Derbyshire did some interesting stuff. '70s were the real genesis of electronic music.
