It's not the worst but it could use something. Some of the best emo tunes are on this album and few people know this record or like it because it sounds so raw.

It sounds better on vinyl but not that much better.

Just listen to Depths of Darkness if you want high quality Burzum. You'll realize it actually sounds much worse, as black metal is meant to be lofi.

listen to the 2012 remaster/remix that is in the archive. It's the best imo, it really sounds pretty good :)
