At least, personally some of the instruments (percussions, for example) feel much more vivid and well-enmeshed than other of his works.

This is probably my favorite album. I think it's the peak of free jazz. I also think it's better to listen to once you have a grasp of what jazz sounded like before it, though. Knowing what the conventions of jazz were does kind of enhance the experience a bit, especially with the title track. That song is so fucking crazy I love it
