I'll give this post one bump before snooze time

little simplistic, and the anime music video isn't helping
decent mixing though, and you know how to make instrumentals interesting
sampling and lyrics are a bit heavy-handed
all in all half-decent track, i wouldn't be surprised to see you make it big with a future, slightly more mature project

no worries dude! i think i came off sounding a lot more negative about the track than i actually feel, but mostly the stuff i had to say in terms of specifics was negative- it's a nice song though, i couldn't put something together nearly as good. keep doing what you're doing

Well the whole anime thing is very prevalent in lofi hiphop because you can produce a video for essentially free other than time, and my friend made this video for me without me even asking! So I understand that criticism, but honestly I was flattered he wanted to do anything with it at all - it's not something people typically do for me.

And yeah lyrics etc are a little heavy handed, I'm doing this stupid thing where I'm trying to build a backstory to the character and it's not always easy to translate human feelings into what a robot would say.

I know that's stupid and silly and maybe one day I'll move on from this schtick but for now it's been all in good fun.

I'm glad you enjoyed the track! Hopefully there will be even better tracks to come soon enough.
