I'm sick of people talking about race in general, but unfortunately for me people just keep on being racist and people who are racially discriminated against are understandably annoyed about that so it's not going to stop any time soon and will probably remain a mainstage political issue for at least a hundred more years despite the fact that race theory has already been basically scientifically invalidated by genome theory and can be considered nothing more than an extremely vague description of an individual's DNA.

Feels great knowing that until I die people will still be having the same old dumbass debates about this shit.

TPAB is more personal and about his guilt and being torn apart by personal and professional expectations. He wants to be this positive influence and feels the expectations to lead people, but at the same time he's a human being and fails all the time. It's about finding the balance between celebrity and wide-vision and taking care of the real-world (family, relationships, day-to-day) around you.

This one time I was playing chess in the library at school with a friend and this Italian guy and his defacto goon came in and started stirring the pot for no reason. We didn't really say anything but this must have went on for about 10 minutes until I got fed up and inexplicitately called him a wog in a tone I can only describe as annoyed/frustrated.

Annoyed cause it felt like he was using his race as a shield to pull some stupid shit such as interrupting an otherwise peaceful game of chess, and frustrated that he was setting such an example for his otherwise friendly aforementioned goon.

Thats what this surge, or at least popularity in racially charged albums feels like to me. It feels like a big ego boost for the artist at the helm whilst simultaneously putting pressure on those in the same minority to be a certain way.

Yes. And this is coming from a far-leftist black man. Album's like AABA offer absolutely nothing new to the narrative. No fresh perspectives, no clever lyricism, no self-awareness. Just empty platitudes and shallow political talking points you'd find in a Huffington Post article.

On top of that, the production and flows are underwhelming and fail to meliorate the terrible subject matter.

The intro track and Devastated are good, though. I hated Devastated when it was first released but it's better than most of the trash on this album. This isn't a review, by the way.
