What is /mu/'s opinion of Big Star? I dont see them discussed

OG power pop as a whole isn't discussed a huge amount around here. You'd be hard pressed getting a decent thread about Cheap Trick or the Raspberries going, let alone Big Star.

the problem is that everybody likes them. The threads that get the most replies have to do with controversial opinions and discussion

This album reflects the way I see life. Kinda happy, kinda depressing, ironic, beautiful, but in the end a waste of time
