This board never ceases to amaze me. Gorillaz was never some bastion of artistic credibility. They're a fucking cartoon band masterminded by a guy from a shitty pop rock band. They were very clearly for little kids when they first came out, not that there's anything wrong with that. They have some good pop music, and that's really all you can ask from Damon. This song in particular isn't that bad, nothing I'd listen to again but it wasn't some travesty. Whether I disagree with the lyrics or not is completely irrelevant to me.
