I see your point, but it won't fix the board. Having a separate board for waifu threads like /kpg/ and /grimes/ might be good, but if you want less memes, what you need are good mods.

This is basically the biggest point against it. /mu/ is fairly slow already, so splitting the board into two will either cause the new board to be dead on arrival, kill /mu/ or both.

There wouldn't even need to be generals for often huge genres if people didn't spam threads about the same thing.

All the Beach Boys and Beatles, multiple rap and waifu spammers, keep it in ONE thread and let the rest of the board be used for something different for a change.

All the generals should and spammed shit should just stay in /daily/
