I like allmusic because the reviews tend to be nice and short and tell you only what you need to know, and the song samples on each album page are very convenient.

Allmusic is SOLID but a lot of the reviews are starting to become pretty dated. You'll see two or three sentence reviews written in 2002 for older albums that are now a foundation point for modern stuff.
