Most pre-American Idiot Green Day is great.
And even though they sold out with AI, I still think it has some sweet tunes.
>>
I used to love green day before they became total cucks and made that anti trump video
>>
>>71949184
That's what I think too
>>
>>71949202
that makes no sense at all
>>
Kerplunk and Warning will always be criminally underrated
>>
Great album

Does anyone else here really like 1039 smoothed out slappy hours?
>>
>>71949184
they didn't sell out, hell it wasn't even that different
>>
>>71949184
>sold out when they released American Idiot.
>they said the same thing when Dookie came out.
>get over it, Senpai
>>71949122
I really dig their whole discography, having not listened to Revolutionary Radio yet, theirs a few weak point sure, but them as a whole, great band (mainstream or not, fuck if I care.)
>>
>>71950405
Their first two albums are great imo
Perfect, charming highschool love songs
>>
>>71949184
I honestly think Green Day never sold out. I think AI showcases their strong songwriting abilities, while their albums before and after quirkily display that they're just dudes who are punk af and just wanna have fun. I'm not a big fan of their new stuff, but it's still Green Day as ever.

If you want to know what a sellout is, blink-182 will gladly explain it for you.

You really expected them to be trump supporters?
>>
>>71950642
not that anon but I'd have expected they to not jump in the bandwagon, yeah
>>
>>71950768
you don't read their lyrics, or ever listen to their interviews, or hell, paid attention to American Idiot, cause -- them 'jumping on the bandwagon,' was obvious. Learn how to Green Day, bruh.

what is it with Trumptards only realizing last year that artists are usually liberal and liberals are liberal and liberals don't like republican presidential candidates?

Their entire 90's material is oddly unique, it might be production.
>>
I don't get why people shit so much on American Idiot for not being "legit" enough when 21st century breakdown was their actual first bad album.

The worst part is that after it they never recovered.
>>
>>71951905
What the fuck, whenever I try to reply to a ton of posts like that, I get a message saying "Our system thinks your post is spam, try again".
