Tobehonest, LYSF is one of my favorite albums of all time, but besides that, yeah, Post-Rock suffers from similar issues as Shoegaze.

I've done it quite a few times, it's basically always disappointing...not that they are bad, but usually the cover is the best part, this and that SubRosa album are the first ones that come to mind, this was the better of the two but still nothing special

A problem I have all the time with post rock and shoegaze is that I like a particular album and I can't find enough that sounds like it. Usually the production is the part that isn't right.

Half the bands that get called rip offs don't sound similar enough for me.

Both this and The Impossible Kid were recent albums that I was gonna skip out on based on the limited material I heard, but then said "OH SHIT NIGGA" and listened to them the same day I saw the cover art.
