What's the most aesthetic and practical music player and why is it barebones Foobar with the vintage theme?
>>71923032
aesthetic =/= edgyhackerbruhhhhh green/black
>>71923032
iTunes. You literally can not argue this
>>71923032
windows media player
Winamp
>>71923150
Yeah. I've been thinking of getting foobar but I really like how iTunes looks.
>>71923503
in that case get musicbee
Ncmpcpp + mpd
>>71923032
vintage theme is pretty ugly imo
this is what I'm using right now, it's not ideal but it works well and I'm too lazy to learn how to customize it better
>>71923032
Jriver
Musicbee with a nice skin is pretty nice.
step aside
This is best foobar boyos
>>71923032
If you're going to make it look like that, at least use Windows Classic theme, jesus.
OP, too much interwebs for you
>>71923837
Musicbee and metro
>>71924219
No, windows classic gives me eye cancer.
Looks nice, but it's very bad for browsing.
Should I get Musicbee?
>>71923699
How are you sorting by Artist and then albums by year of release?
>>71924799
$swapprefix(%<album artist>%)|'['%date%']' %album%|[[%discnumber%.]%tracknumber%. ][%track artist% - ]%title% - '['%length%']'
this is what I'm using
>>71923699
Even if it's bare bones, that's a pretty sexy layout.
>>71923124
OP's just doing it wrong.
>>71926275
I don't like the in-player browser.
musicbee
Any variation of foobar's grey skins with a custom layout is the ultimate in form and function
>>71926275
view by folder structure, then 9/10
>>71926532
group by album, then 9/10
>>71926604
Group by album is valid, but I have a preference for grouping by file location since I enjoy creating playlists and have a very orderly file library.
