For white people it is Josh Homme. For black people it is Jay-Z.
Jay-Z kind off sucks in comparison
t. Beyonce.
No black person compares Jay Z to Elvis
Elvis isn't even a benchmark to black people for obvious reasons.

like what, that fake quote?
>>71904777
I have no idea what quote you're talking about but why would black people use a white guy in a genre where there are already black artists as a benchmark for anything
Moreover there are more popular genres that are still tied to the black cultural identity today that has performers on the same level of Elvis that could be used as a benchmark instead (Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, etc)

am I stupid or is this post just completely incomprehensible
>>71904821
The post is comparing 2 artists with little to no similarities.
It's basically like saying "The Beatles are better than Wu Tang Clan"
>>71904821
its needlessly vague so I don't think you are in the wrong as much as OP is
he's saying Josh Homme and Jay Z are the modern Elvis for white people and black people respectively, which is pretty damn retarded.
>>71904836
but they are
>>71904851
Maybe they are. That's not my point.
My point is you're comparing artists with very little similarities so it's hard to compare who's better since they excel in different areas.
For me it is the mcchicken
