The beat is fine. Kendrick is overrated as a rapper. He's not bad I guess but people say he's so complex when he literally just raps in triplets so it's possible to fit any word anywhere. His rhyme schemes aren't complex, they're just thrown together. He has no rhythm.

I usually love everything Kendrick puts out, but this for me was his worst track since Michael Jordan. I'm hoping it's just a single version that will be made better on the larger project like 'i' (even though I actually was cool with the original version of that track) but if the entire album ends up being more like this and less like The Heart Part IV, it's going to be three steps back for Kendrick soundwise.
