I honestly can't comprehend how anybody can not think this is the greatest Hip Hop album of all time?
We haven't had a Hip Hop album push the boundary of the genre and establish it as high art since Endtroducing.

Endtroducing is a boring repetitive garbage t b h
How does this? It's typical madlib beats, typical doom lyrics. left field match made in heaven sure, but that doesn't make it groundbreaking (or even necessarily that good)

that album cover is sexeh, and the name really makes you think
>>71875689
Holy shit you normie faggot. If you don't get it. Go back to listening to Tyler or Earl.
>>71875654
It didn't really push the genre at all. J Dee and Madlib had been doing that sort of thing for years.
>>71875730
lmao, I listened to this when I was in high school like 6 years ago, and loved it. But as I've matured, it's not shit really dude
>>71875654
It's decent desu. Nothing better than good. MF Doom has some great one liners and verses and yes Madlibs production is quite soulful and colorful, but in what ways does it actually push the genre forward? Because they are "villains" trying to same humanity. That concept is very loose as well, and so are some of Dooms verses. Is it good? Yes. Nothing better than that though. Then again I'm not really a comic book nerd. I actually prefer The Unseen
I think Pic-Related is a patrician version of Madvillainy

Did you say greatest Hip Hop Album?
I like this album a lot but you're reaching. What evidence from the source material can you provide that backs up your genre boundary pushing contention? It's a great alternative hip hop album but in what ways can you suggest it is experimental (and therefore boundary pushing)?

This is everybody's first "underground" hiphop album. I love it but your not a "normie" for disliking it.
