This is better than OK Computer, Crooked Rain, and the Blue Album
I'd like to see disagreements

>I'd like to see disagreements
ok: you're wrong
I think ok computer is better, otherwise i agree
completely wrong really
The Blue Album is a better pop album and OK Computer is a better album.
It's inconsistent but very good.

no goggles here
It's not as good as Ok Computer but the other 2 yes
The blue album is 80% shit stop lying to yourself.
OKC is close, but I agree with OP
Champagne Supernova is best song of all time, the songs i used to hate on WTSMG all grew on me,

The Blue Album has one and a half bad songs ya dingus fuck
>>71870149
Every song has the energy, melody, and performance of a band that was in its complete and utter prime with the singles and critical acclaim to back it up. And Champagne Supernova in context w/ the whole record is one of the greatest musical moments of the 90's
>>71870167
No One Else: definitely not weird lyrics
The World Has Turned: SLTS, but awful
Sweater Song: Trashy hook, faux-artsy intro, tries to be really edgy with lots of screaming but its called the sweater song so ew
Surf Wax America: ew
In the Grodge: Painful
Last two songs: i think they exist

>Champagne Supernova is best song of all time

>Champagne Supernova in context w/ the whole record is one of the greatest musical moments of the 90's
this is sarcasm, right?

I guess this is as good a thread as any to discuss this. Music is definitely an odd art form because it's existed for so long and yet only recently with the advent of digital recording has it been so accessible. And I dont know what it is about music where people will listen to a couple of albums, usually something that was released around 30 or so years ago and be convinced that they have the greatest taste in music ever, and the pretty much irrelevant in the long run hackneyed album they heard is the pinnacle of a medium they only have a surface level understanding of. Thoughts?
