sure if you look hard enough you'll find decent rock music, but it's drastically less popular than it once was, no one's saying music has objectively gotten shit in 2010 onwards, but there's a reason people are listening to more rap and less rock music

i mean 2011 was god tier for chillwave with Toro y Moi and Neon indian fucking mudering the game. Also New Brigade came out that year so Rock music had a small breath of fresh air, even fucking Live.Love.Asap which changed which made underground rap mainstream, if i'm being honest 2011 would have been the GOAT year in music if GKMC would have came out a year earlier.
